Responsibility
- Inspect and evaluate the quality of fresh and frozen products to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular quality checks on incoming and outgoing shipments, documenting any discrepancies or issues.
- Monitor and maintain optimal storage conditions for fresh and frozen products to preserve quality and safety.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to implement corrective actions for any quality-related issues.
- Perform routine audits of warehouse procedures to ensure adherence to quality control protocols.
- Assist in the development and updating of quality control documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Provide training and guidance to warehouse staff on quality control best practices.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes and efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in quality control or related fields is a plus.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in quality control, warehouse operations, or a related field, preferably in the food or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and practices, particularly for fresh and frozen products.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or inconsistencies in products.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Ability to work in a cold storage environment and lift moderate weights as required.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards (e.g., HACCP) is an advantage.
