Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Identify and document defects, non-conformities, and deviations from specifications.
- Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence of quality issues.
- Perform regular audits of production processes to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection results, test data, and quality metrics.
- Utilize various measuring tools and equipment to assess product dimensions, functionality, and appearance.
- Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent in a related field (e.g., Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality Assurance).
- Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards, methodologies, and tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and manuals.
- Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in Quality Control or related field is a plus.
