Responsibility

  • Manage and process PEZA and other import/export documentation to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies to facilitate smooth clearance of shipments.
  • Monitor and track shipments, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any logistical issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of all import/export transactions, including invoices, permits, and certificates.
  • Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to ensure alignment on trade requirements and deadlines.
  • Stay updated on changes in trade laws, tariffs, and regulations to mitigate risks and optimize processes.
  • Prepare and submit reports on import/export activities, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in resolving discrepancies or delays in shipments through proactive communication and problem-solving.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in import/export operations, customs compliance, or logistics coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of PEZA regulations, customs procedures, and international trade documentation.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP or logistics software is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are advantageous.
  • Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for coordination with partners or regulatory bodies.
