Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and protocols in alignment with industry regulations.
- Identify, document, and report defects or non-conformities, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement process improvements.
- Perform regular audits and prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, automotive industry standards, and customer-specific requirements.
- Train and mentor staff on quality control best practices and procedures.
- Utilize quality control tools and software to analyze data and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in quality control, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, ISO standards, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Proficient in using quality control tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM) and software (e.g., Minitab, SAP QM).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
