Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching materials and equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ensure stock levels align with project demands.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and project teams to optimize supply chain workflows and reduce lead times.
- Implement and enforce safety, security, and compliance protocols in accordance with industry and company standards.
- Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Supervise warehouse staff, including training, task assignment, and performance evaluation to ensure operational efficiency.
- Prepare and submit reports on warehouse activities, including inventory turnover, space utilization, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with vendors and transportation providers to ensure timely delivery and resolution of any logistical issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in mining, construction, or heavy industry sectors.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control best practices.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and ERP systems.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, including OSHA or equivalent standards, and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing operational demands.
