Responsibility
- Inspect finished garment products for defects, inconsistencies, or deviations from quality standards.
- Measure and verify dimensions, stitching, fabric quality, and overall construction against specifications.
- Document and report quality issues, including root cause analysis, to production and management teams.
- Collaborate with sewing, cutting, and finishing teams to address and resolve quality concerns promptly.
- Conduct pre-production and in-process inspections to prevent defects before final assembly.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with company, client, and industry quality standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in quality control within the garment or textile industry.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and sewing techniques.
- Keen attention to detail with the ability to identify even minor defects.
- Proficiency in using measuring tools (e.g., rulers, gauges) and quality inspection equipment.
- Basic understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and industry standards (e.g., ISO, AQL).
- Excellent communication skills to report findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in quality control is a plus.
