Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality control systems to ensure garment products meet company and client specifications.
- Lead and train QC inspectors and team members to maintain high standards of workmanship and efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits of production processes, raw materials, and finished goods to identify defects or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production, design, and procurement teams to resolve quality issues and optimize manufacturing workflows.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, non-conformance issues, and corrective actions for management review.
- Ensure compliance with international quality standards (e.g., ISO, AQL) and client-specific requirements.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce waste.
- Oversee the calibration and maintenance of QC equipment and tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control within the garment or textile manufacturing industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of garment production processes, fabric types, and quality inspection techniques.
- Strong understanding of international quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AQL sampling).
- Proven ability to lead teams, train staff, and drive process improvements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in QC software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, inspection apps).
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; additional languages are a plus.
