As the Assistant Production Manager, you will work closely with the Head of Production to ensure seamless operations, efficient workflows, and high-quality output. Responsibility
- Assist the Head of Production in planning, organizing, and monitoring daily production activities to meet targets.
- Supervise production staff, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Coordinate with the design, cutting, sewing, and finishing departments to maintain smooth workflow and on-time delivery.
- Monitor production schedules, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality control standards.
- Prepare and maintain production reports, including output metrics, resource utilization, and performance analysis.
- Liaise with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely procurement and delivery of raw materials.
- Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in garment production, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or assistant managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, including cutting, sewing, and finishing.
- Proven ability to read and interpret production orders, technical specifications, and quality standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; additional languages are an advantage.
