Responsibility
- Lead and supervise quality control activities on construction sites to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Develop and implement quality control plans, procedures, and checklists for all phases of construction.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve quality-related issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality control activities, including inspection reports and non-conformance reports.
- Ensure adherence to local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on quality control best practices.
- Monitor and report on quality performance metrics to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control within the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, ISO standards, and industry regulations.
- Proven experience in leading quality control teams and managing multiple projects.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in quality control software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma) is a plus.
