Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation and testing of pharmaceutical samples according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct routine laboratory tests, including pH, viscosity, and microbial analysis, under supervision.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all laboratory activities, ensuring compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Prepare and sterilize laboratory equipment, glassware, and reagents for testing procedures.
- Monitor inventory of laboratory supplies and notify supervisors of shortages or expired materials.
- Follow strict safety protocols to handle hazardous chemicals and biological samples.
- Assist in the calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments to ensure accuracy.
- Support senior QC staff in investigating deviations and implementing corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a pharmaceutical or laboratory setting (fresh graduates with relevant internships are encouraged to apply).
- Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols.
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment such as pH meters, autoclaves, and microscopes.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and regulatory requirements is a plus.
