Responsibility
- Manage and organize laboratory equipment, supplies, and inventory to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in the preparation, testing, and documentation of fragrance formulations under strict quality control.
- Maintain accurate records of experiments, results, and laboratory activities in compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with perfumers and chemists to develop and refine scent profiles.
- Ensure laboratory safety protocols are followed, including proper handling of chemicals and waste disposal.
- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
- Support research and development projects by analyzing data and preparing reports.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and innovative techniques in fragrance science.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in a laboratory setting, preferably in fragrance, cosmetics, or chemical analysis.
- Strong attention to detail with a passion for aroma and scent composition.
- Proficiency in laboratory software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and safety standards.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian) are a plus.
