Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of sheet metal components to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Identify and document any defects, deviations, or non-conformities in materials or finished products.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality control data.
- Perform visual and functional inspections to ensure products meet aesthetic and performance criteria.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and best practices.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Control, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector, preferably in sheet metal manufacturing or a similar industry.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying defects and inconsistencies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
