Responsibility
- Conduct drive tests to evaluate mobile network performance, including voice, data, and video services.
- Collect and analyze KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) such as signal strength, call drop rates, and throughput.
- Identify and document network issues, coverage gaps, and interference sources.
- Generate detailed test reports and provide recommendations for network optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and improve network reliability.
- Operate and maintain specialized testing equipment (e.g., scanners, spectrum analyzers, GPS devices).
- Stay updated on emerging telecom technologies (5G, VoLTE, IoT) and industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards during field operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in drive testing, RF engineering, or mobile network optimization.
- Proficiency in using drive test tools (e.g., TEMS, XCAL, Nemo, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and troubleshoot network issues.
- Excellent communication skills to present findings and collaborate with technical teams.
- Valid driverâs license and willingness to travel for field assignments.
- Familiarity with GSM, UMTS, LTE, and 5G technologies is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in dynamic outdoor environments.
