Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional tests on cosmetics and personal care products using industry-standard tools and equipment.
- Document inspection results, non-conformities, and corrective actions in detailed reports for management review.
- Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO standards, and other regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EU Cosmetics Regulation).
- Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment to guarantee accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Train and mentor junior staff on QC procedures, best practices, and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in quality control, preferably in the cosmetics, personal care, or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO 22716, HACCP, and other relevant quality standards.
- Proficient in using laboratory equipment such as pH meters, viscometers, spectrophotometers, and microscopy tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to identify defects and deviations.
- Ability to interpret technical documents, including SOPs, specifications, and regulatory guidelines.
- Familiarity with ERP or LIMS systems for data management is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) and ability to work in a multicultural team.
