Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards.
- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional tests using calibrated equipment and documented procedures.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records for traceability and auditing purposes.
- Identify and report non-conformities, deviations, or defects, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related issues promptly.
- Ensure adherence to local and international regulatory requirements, including ISO, GMP, and HACCP standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Assist in the development and revision of quality control procedures and work instructions.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality control, preferably in manufacturing, food production, or chemical industries.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP).
- Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, spectrophotometers).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to identify defects and non-conformities.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
