Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
- Document and report inspection results, including non-conformities, defects, or deviations, with clear and actionable feedback.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Perform calibration checks on inspection tools and equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Monitor and analyze quality control data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, customer requirements, and internal quality management systems (e.g., ISO standards).
- Participate in audits, both internal and external, to verify compliance with quality protocols.
- Train and mentor staff on quality control procedures, best practices, and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in quality control, inspection, or a similar role within the manufacturing or logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers), and testing procedures.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or other quality management systems is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and quality control software.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
