Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inbound inspections of materials, including counting, spec/grade verification, and quality checks to ensure compliance with purchase orders and industry standards.
- Manage inventory control by accurately recording stock levels, organizing storage areas, and implementing FIFO (First-In, First-Out) or other inventory systems as required.
- Execute outbound processes, including picking, packing, and loading materials based on approved documentation, while ensuring timely and error-free dispatch.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of all warehouse transactions, including receipts, issuances, and transfers, using digital or manual systems as applicable.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to coordinate material flows and resolve discrepancies or shortages promptly.
- Perform regular cycle counts and assist in physical inventory audits to ensure data accuracy and minimize losses.
- Uphold housekeeping standards by maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or a related field in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with high accuracy in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software; familiarity with Excel is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts) and willingness to obtain certification if required.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with internal teams and external partners.
- Physical ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 kg and stand for extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
