Responsibility
- Perform daily inspections of frozen and fresh products to ensure compliance with company, industry, and regulatory standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO, local food safety regulations).
- Document and report quality control findings, including non-conformities, defects, or deviations, using standardized templates and digital tools.
- Conduct temperature checks, weight verification, packaging integrity tests, and sensory evaluations (e.g., color, texture, odor) for incoming and outgoing products.
- Collaborate with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and maintain inventory records for QC samples, ensuring traceability and proper storage conditions.
- Assist in audits and certifications by preparing documentation and providing evidence of compliance.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and optimize workflows.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging quality control technologies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in quality control, preferably in food manufacturing, frozen products, or logistics.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) such as HACCP, ISO 22000, or GMP.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or inconsistencies in products.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic data entry tools; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) to prepare reports and collaborate with teams.
- Ability to work in cold storage environments and lift/move products weighing up to 20 kg.
- Certification in food safety (e.g., HACCP, BPOM) is highly advantageous.
