Responsibility
- Inspect and test raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Document and report quality control findings, including defects, deviations, and non-conformities, with clear and actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and maintain quality control equipment, ensuring calibration and proper functionality.
- Conduct regular audits of production processes to verify adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the development and revision of quality control protocols, checklists, and documentation.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards, best practices, and safety protocols.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing quality data and suggesting process enhancements.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or a similar role within manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, including statistical process control (SPC), ISO standards, and Six Sigma principles.
- Proficient in using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and quality inspection software.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to identify defects and trends.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations in a manufacturing setting.
