Responsibility
- Conduct professional on-site quality inspections of various electronic products in accordance with client specifications and international quality standards.
- Perform visual and functional testing to identify defects, packaging issues, or non-compliance.
- Collect, document, and report objective findings using QIMA’s standardized reporting platforms.
- Verify product compliance against technical drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), and client-provided inspection criteria.
- Manage inspection schedules effectively to ensure timely reporting and service delivery.
- Collaborate with factory representatives to clarify inspection findings and promote continuous improvement.
- Ensure all inspection tools and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated for accurate readings.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance within the electronics manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) sampling methods and international quality standards (ISO 9001).
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams, engineering blueprints, and product specifications.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of integrity in reporting findings.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Malay.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, mobile reporting apps).
- Ability to travel to various manufacturing sites within the Johor region.
