Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming packaging materials and labels to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Perform in-process quality control checks to identify defects, inconsistencies, or deviations from specifications.
- Document and report inspection findings, including non-conformities, using digital tracking systems and standardized reporting tools.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence of defects.
- Calibrate and maintain quality control equipment to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) sessions to investigate quality issues and propose sustainable solutions.
- Assist in the development and updating of quality control procedures, work instructions, and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international quality standards (e.g., ISO, GMP, HACCP).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control, inspection, or a related role within manufacturing, logistics, or packaging industries.
- Strong understanding of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., statistical process control, Six Sigma, 5S).
- Proficiency in using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and digital measurement devices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and propose improvements.
- Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal) to document findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001, ASQ) or willingness to obtain certification is a plus.
