Responsibility
- Perform thorough inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct routine and specialized tests using industry-standard equipment and methodologies.
- Document inspection results, non-conformities, and corrective actions in detailed reports.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of quality control activities and ensure traceability of all inspections.
- Assist in the calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and equipment.
- Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff on quality control procedures.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control or a similar role within manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Certification in quality control (e.g., CQI, CQE) is a plus.
