Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic procurement plans to align with business objectives, ensuring cost efficiency and supplier reliability.
- Lead end-to-end trading operations, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management for key commodities and services.
- Optimize supply chain logistics to enhance operational efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to secure favorable terms and long-term partnerships.
- Oversee budget forecasting and cost analysis to drive financial performance and mitigate risks.
- Implement sustainable and ethical procurement practices in compliance with global standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with customer demands and market trends.
- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement in procurement processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement, trading, or supply chain leadership, preferably in maritime, logistics, or manufacturing.
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in cost-benefit analysis, budgeting, and financial modeling.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to influence internal and external partners.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, procurement software, and data analytics tools.
- Deep understanding of global trade regulations, compliance, and risk management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a results-driven approach.
