Responsibility
- Oversee and optimize warehouse operations, including storage, handling, and distribution of chemical goods in compliance with safety standards.
- Implement and manage AWS (Advanced Warehouse Systems) to enhance inventory accuracy, tracking, and automation.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and distribution teams to ensure timely delivery and minimize supply chain disruptions.
- Develop and maintain logistics reports using VB (Visual Basic) or other tools to analyze performance metrics and identify improvement areas.
- Ensure adherence to local and international regulations for chemical storage, transportation, and handling.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and increase operational efficiency in logistics processes.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, carriers, and customs brokers.
- Train and supervise logistics staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in chemical manufacturing or hazardous materials handling.
- Proficient in AWS (Advanced Warehouse Systems) and familiar with VB (Visual Basic) or similar programming tools for logistics automation.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and ERP software.
- Excellent understanding of safety protocols for chemical storage and transportation (e.g., GHS, IMDG, ADR).
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and streamline processes.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
