Responsibility
- Conduct visual and physical inspections of raw materials, components, in-process assemblies, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Document and report any defects or deviations from specifications, providing detailed feedback to production teams.
- Perform regular quality audits and maintain accurate records of inspection results.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations and company quality policies.
- Utilize measuring tools and equipment to verify product dimensions and specifications.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes.
- Train and mentor junior inspectors on quality control procedures and best practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in quality control is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
