Responsibility
- Conduct rigorous inspection and testing of semiconductor components and products to ensure adherence to industry and company quality standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC protocols, including statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Collaborate with production teams to identify defects, analyze trends, and recommend corrective actions to minimize downtime and waste.
- Document and report quality metrics, non-conformities, and improvement initiatives to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, IATF, or other relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Calibrate and maintain testing equipment to guarantee accuracy and reliability of measurements.
- Train and mentor production staff on quality best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in continuous improvement projects (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Diploma holders with relevant experience may also apply.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in QA/QC roles within semiconductor, electronics, or precision manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or similar.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, CMM, optical comparators) and data analysis software (e.g., Minitab, Excel).
- Familiarity with semiconductor fabrication processes (e.g., wafer processing, packaging, testing) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to liaise with cross-functional teams.
- Certifications in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or QA methodologies are highly advantageous.
