Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and standards to ensure product excellence.
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to verify compliance with specifications.
- Analyze quality data and prepare detailed reports on findings, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and evaluate production processes to identify opportunities for efficiency and quality enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies related to quality control.
- Train and mentor staff on quality control procedures, best practices, and the use of quality assurance tools.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and Six Sigma projects, to drive operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
- Proficiency in using quality control software and tools, such as statistical process control (SPC) software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Certification in Quality Management (e.g., CQE, Six Sigma) is a plus.
