Responsibility
- Source and procure materials, services, and goods required for retail operations while ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best value for the company.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet operational demands and avoid shortages or excess stock.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including design, production, and logistics, to align procurement activities with business needs.
- Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.
- Manage purchase orders, invoices, and delivery schedules to ensure timely and accurate procurement processes.
- Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and new suppliers to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information for reporting and auditing purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in the retail or fashion industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate supplier performance and optimize procurement processes.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations and best practices.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills, particularly Bahasa Indonesia, are a plus.
