Responsibility
- Perform laboratory testing and analysis on fuels, lubricants, LPG, and materials to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Validate and implement testing methods to improve accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of quality control processes.
- Document and report test results, deviations, and corrective actions in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve quality-related issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy of test results.
- Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality control processes to enhance consistency and compliance.
- Participate in audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality management systems and regulatory guidelines.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff on laboratory techniques, safety protocols, and quality control procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control, laboratory analysis, or a similar role within the petroleum or chemical industry.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, analytical instruments, and quality assurance principles.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as ASTM, ISO, and local regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Proficient in using laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
