Responsibility
- Conduct precise chemical and physical analysis of gas samples using GC, HPLC, and spectroscopy techniques.
- Ensure compliance with international laboratory standards (ISO/IEC 17025, ASTM, GPA).
- Prepare and calibrate laboratory equipment, maintaining accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Document and interpret analytical data, generating comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support R&D and quality assurance initiatives.
- Monitor inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents, ensuring timely restocking.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Participate in method development and validation for new testing procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in gas or petroleum analysis.
- Proficiency in operating chromatography (GC/HPLC), mass spectrometry, and spectroscopy instruments.
- Strong knowledge of international laboratory standards (ISO, ASTM, GPA).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) for technical reporting.
- Ability to work independently and in a team under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) is a plus.
