Responsibility
- Conduct chemical and physical analyses of palm oil samples to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including spectrometers, chromatographs, and titrators.
- Document and interpret test results, preparing detailed reports for management and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot quality issues and recommend process improvements.
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new testing methodologies, and regulatory changes.
- Assist in the development and validation of new analytical methods.
- Participate in audits and inspections to ensure laboratory accreditation and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in the agricultural or food industry.
- Proficiency in using laboratory instruments and software for data analysis.
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and regulatory standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Certification in laboratory safety or quality management is a plus.
