Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Assurance (QA) policies and procedures in compliance with ISO, GMP, and other relevant standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of laboratory and hospital facilities to ensure adherence to quality and safety protocols.
- Monitor and analyze test results and data to identify trends, deviations, or areas for improvement in chemical and microbiological testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate non-conformities, root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Prepare and review standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and technical documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Train and mentor laboratory staff on QA best practices, quality control techniques, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure timely calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment to meet quality and performance standards.
- Support accreditation and certification processes (e.g., ISO 17025, CAP) by preparing documentation and coordinating with external auditors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance within a laboratory or hospital environment.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 17025, GMP, GLP, and other relevant quality standards.
- Proven experience with auditing, CAPA systems, and root cause analysis (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram).
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, LIMS, statistical software).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is highly desirable.
- Certifications in Quality Management (e.g., ASQ CQA) or related fields are advantageous.
