Responsibility
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of logistics operations to identify and address quality issues.
- Collaborate with operations, warehouse, and transportation teams to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Analyze data and prepare reports on quality performance, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
- Lead root cause analysis investigations for quality incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Train and mentor staff on quality assurance best practices and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier and vendor performance to ensure quality standards are met.
- Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure continuous improvement in quality processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the logistics or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in using quality assurance tools and software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in quality assurance (e.g., CQA, Six Sigma) is a plus.
