Responsibility
- Perform detailed inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct comprehensive testing using specialized tools and equipment to identify defects, deviations, or non-conformities.
- Document and report quality control findings, including test results, inspection data, and non-conformance reports, with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and management teams to investigate root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and maintain quality control records, ensuring traceability and adherence to ISO, GMP, or other relevant industry standards.
- Calibrate and maintain testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of measurements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean or Six Sigma, to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Train and guide production staff on quality control procedures, best practices, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a QA or quality control role within the manufacturing, automotive, or electronics industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, including statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis (RCA), and 5S.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM) and quality inspection software.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other relevant quality management systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specification sheets.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
