Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to verify adherence to specifications.
- Document and analyze quality control data, identifying trends and recommending corrective actions to prevent defects.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, non-conformances, and root cause analyses for management review.
- Perform internal audits and participate in external audits to ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, or other relevant certifications.
- Train and mentor staff on quality control procedures and best practices to foster a culture of quality.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure incoming materials meet quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) are a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in QA/QC within manufacturing, logistics, or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, statistical process control (SPC), and testing protocols.
- Proficiency in using QA software, MS Office, and data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to interpret technical documents, blueprints, and regulatory guidelines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives is advantageous.
