Responsibility
- Conduct thorough visual and dimensional inspections of manufactured products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Identify, document, and report defects, non-conformities, or deviations from established quality criteria.
- Operate and maintain inspection tools, gauges, and equipment to perform accurate quality checks.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions in real time.
- Maintain detailed records of inspection results, test data, and quality metrics for traceability and analysis.
- Assist in the development and revision of quality control procedures and work instructions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
- Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental regulations in the workplace.
Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; a degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience (1-2 years) in quality assurance, inspection, or manufacturing environments, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of quality control standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and inspection techniques.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and basic computer applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to detect minor defects or inconsistencies.
- Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal) to document findings and collaborate with teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles is an advantage.
