Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive quality inspections of parts, materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with industry and company standards.
- Investigate nonconformance issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related challenges and improve processes.
- Develop and maintain QA documentation, including inspection reports, test protocols, and quality metrics.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance data to identify trends and recommend process enhancements.
- Ensure adherence to ISO, Six Sigma, or other relevant quality management systems (QMS).
- Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Liaise with customers and suppliers to address quality concerns and maintain strong relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen).
- Proficiency in QA tools and software (e.g., Minitab, SAP QM, or equivalent).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in Quality Management (e.g., ASQ CQE, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) is a plus.
