Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Conduct regular internal and external audits to identify non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze process inefficiencies and propose data-driven improvements.
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics (e.g., defect rates, customer complaints) to senior management.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for quality issues and implement preventive measures to mitigate risks.
- Train and mentor staff on quality control procedures, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Review and approve documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and inspection reports.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging quality assurance technologies to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CQE, Six Sigma) are a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in manufacturing, transport, or logistics.
- Proven expertise in quality systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and audit methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to precision and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen principles is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
