Responsibility
- Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections of manufactured labels to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.
- Use precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to verify product dimensions, colors, and materials.
- Document inspection results, non-conformities, and corrective actions in compliance with quality management systems (QMS).
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement process improvements.
- Conduct first-article inspections (FAI) and in-process checks to prevent defects.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test data, and quality reports for audits and traceability.
- Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring quality issues and propose solutions.
- Ensure adherence to ISO standards, customer requirements, and internal quality protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in quality assurance, inspection, or manufacturing, preferably in labels, printing, or packaging industries.
- Strong understanding of quality control methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, 5S) and inspection techniques.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, spectrophotometers, thickness gauges).
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other relevant quality standards is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to detect minor defects in high-volume production.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) for reporting and team collaboration.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, ERP systems) for documentation and data entry.
