Responsibility
- Monitor and process incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure compliance with customs regulations.
- Prepare and verify customs documentation, including import/export declarations, invoices, and permits.
- Coordinate with clients, freight forwarders, and government agencies to facilitate smooth clearance of goods.
- Conduct inspections of shipments to verify accuracy of declared contents and compliance with legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all customs transactions and report discrepancies as needed.
- Provide guidance to internal teams and clients on customs procedures and regulatory updates.
- Resolve customs-related issues and delays to minimize disruptions in the supply chain.
- Assist in audits and investigations conducted by customs authorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customs clearance, logistics, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian customs laws, tariffs, and trade regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in using customs management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in customs brokerage or related field is a plus.
