Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain food safety and quality management systems (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000) to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to identify non-conformities, risks, and opportunities for improvement in manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics, including defect rates, customer complaints, and process deviations, to ensure product consistency and safety.
- Prepare and submit documentation for regulatory compliance, certifications, and third-party audits (e.g., FDA, BPOM, Halal).
- Train and educate employees on food safety protocols, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and quality standards to foster a culture of excellence.
- Investigate root causes of quality incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to mitigate risks.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging regulations, and best practices in food safety and quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, food safety, or regulatory compliance within the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, GMP, and Halal certification requirements.
- Experience with internal audits, risk assessments, and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Familiarity with regulatory standards such as BPOM, FDA, or other relevant food safety authorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and quality management software (e.g., SAP, QMS).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Certification in HACCP, ISO 22000, or Lead Auditor is a plus.
