Responsibility
- Lead and execute quality assurance activities for automotive electronics, including New Product Introduction (NPI) and Engineering Change Notice (ECN) documentation.
- Prepare and validate initial samples to ensure compliance with DENSO’s quality standards before production ramp-up.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and supply chain, to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for defects and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics, ensuring alignment with company and customer requirements.
- Support audits and inspections to verify adherence to ISO/TS 16949 and other industry standards.
- Provide training and guidance to production teams on quality control processes and best practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for all quality-related activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the automotive or electronics manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), such as ISO 9001 or IATF 16949.
- Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and Engineering Change Notices (ECN).
- Proficiency in root cause analysis (RCA) tools, such as 8D, 5 Whys, or Fishbone Diagram.
- Familiarity with automotive electronics components and testing methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ) is a plus.
