Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures in compliance with local and international food safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes, raw materials, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to verify the quality of incoming ingredients and packaging materials.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Train and educate staff on quality control protocols, hygiene practices, and safety regulations.
- Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality assurance activities, including audit reports, test results, and compliance records.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in food safety and quality management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the food or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP) and local regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in using quality management tools and software for data analysis and reporting.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams across different departments.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in food safety (e.g., HACCP, FSSC 22000) is a plus.
