Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct manual and automated testing across various stages of the development lifecycle, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders, highlighting risks, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and designers to define quality metrics and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Continuously review and enhance QA processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and design discussions to advocate for quality best practices and proactive risk mitigation.
- Stay updated with emerging QA tools, methodologies, and industry trends to drive innovation within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Quality Assurance Engineer, Test Engineer, or similar role in a product-driven environment.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, Postman, Appium).
- Experience with automated testing and scripting (Python, Java, or JavaScript is a plus).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, Agile/Scrum environment.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical issues and solutions clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
