Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures to ensure product compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Conduct thorough inspections, tests, and audits of materials, components, and finished products to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and R&D teams to address quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality performance, non-conformities, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to ISO, Six Sigma, Lean, and other relevant quality management systems and certifications.
- Train and mentor staff on quality standards, best practices, and the use of quality control tools and techniques.
- Participate in supplier evaluations and qualify new vendors to ensure the consistency and reliability of raw materials and components.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CQE, Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt) are a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within manufacturing, preferably in HVAC, refrigeration, or a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), including ISO 9001, and familiarity with tools like FMEA, SPC, and 8D problem-solving.
- Proficient in using quality inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM) and software (e.g., Minitab, SAP QM).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience in root cause analysis (RCA) and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality-related challenges.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
