Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Document and report any deviations, defects, or non-conformities, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production teams to implement quality control procedures and improve manufacturing processes.
- Perform regular audits and calibration of inspection equipment to maintain accuracy and reliability.
- Maintain detailed records of inspection results, test data, and quality metrics for traceability and compliance.
- Assist in the development and revision of quality control protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Train and guide production staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and best practices.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce waste.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and inspection methodologies.
- Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Certification in Quality Control (e.g., CQI, Six Sigma) is a plus.
