Responsibility
- Maintain and optimize SAP procurement data, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in material pricing and supplier information.
- Support global sourcing initiatives by analyzing market trends, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and negotiating with suppliers.
- Collaborate with Global Category Leaders to develop and implement category strategies that enhance supplier performance and reduce costs.
- Monitor and report on key procurement metrics, including spend analysis, supplier performance, and contract compliance.
- Conduct regular supplier evaluations to assess quality, delivery performance, and risk management.
- Assist in the development of procurement policies and procedures to ensure alignment with company goals and industry best practices.
- Work cross-functionally with finance, operations, and logistics teams to streamline procurement processes and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in procurement practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Proficiency in SAP MM or similar ERP systems; experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Experience in category management, strategic sourcing, or cost optimization is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with procurement best practices, contract management, and risk assessment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with a high degree of autonomy and collaboration.
