Responsibility
- Oversee daily production operations in compounding, dipping, and forming processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Monitor and analyze production performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations in all production activities.
- Lead and mentor production teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and minimize downtime.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance productivity and product consistency.
- Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and finished goods.
- Participate in new product development initiatives, providing insights on production feasibility and process optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven expertise in compounding, dipping, or forming processes, preferably in a high-volume production environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop production staff.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on process improvement and cost reduction.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with safety and quality management systems (e.g., ISO, OSHA).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
