Responsibility
- Analyze complaint data and perform root cause investigations using tools such as Fishbone Diagrams and 5 Whys.
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality issues.
- Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and R&D teams to improve product quality and consistency.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, trends, and improvement initiatives for management review.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure raw materials meet quality specifications.
- Train and mentor staff on quality assurance procedures and best practices.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance overall operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the chemical or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in root cause analysis tools such as Fishbone Diagrams, 5 Whys, and Pareto Analysis.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis software is a plus.
- Certification in Quality Assurance (e.g., CQA, Six Sigma) is an advantage.
