Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain QEHS policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify hazards, assess risks, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility.
- Monitor and report on QEHS performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Organize and deliver QEHS training programs to enhance employee awareness and competence.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all QEHS-related activities and certifications.
- Stay updated with emerging QEHS trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation within the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in QEHS roles within the manufacturing or logistics industry.
- Certification in QEHS (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) is highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of local and international QEHS regulations and standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient in conducting audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with QEHS management systems and software tools.
